Valheim is still one of those games that gets much better when your world stays online even after the host logs off. If you play with friends regularly, a dedicated server is usually the easiest way to avoid disconnects, host-dependent progress, and messy save transfers.

The tricky part is that not every hosting option fits the same kind of player. Some people just want a one-click game panel and fast setup. Others want full control, mod freedom, and the ability to tune server resources themselves.
