Kuwait

Kuwait is a country in Western Asia located on the northern edge of eastern Arabia at the tip of the Persian Gulf. Most of the country's population lives in the city cluster of the capital, Kuwait City.

Kuwait has a rich oil economy. Kuwait is one of the richest countries in the world. Kuwait is a leader in the Gulf Cooperation Council's financial sector. Kuwait ranks first in the Arab and Muslim world for social progress, and second in the Middle East after Israel.
